iPhone X vs OnePlus 5T
Let's first see how users think which one won:
- OnePlus 5T won… Because iPhone X is too expensive.
- iPhone X: water resistant, better display, face ID, wireless charging, better cameras, Stereo Speaker.
- OnePlus 5T: half of the price, better battery, lighter, larger display, thinner, insane charging speed.
- Finally something I can afford!
- iPhone X, most expensive phone. Samsung Galaxy Note 8, best camera phone! Oneplus 5T: best budget Smartphone!!
That's right! I would like to do a fascinating comparison between iPhone X and the brand-new OnePlus 5T.
What makes it so interesting?
The huge price gap between them, but less hands-on experience difference!
Well, now let's see.
General:
When you take the OnePlus 5T out of the box, you will find it larger in every dimension compared to the iPhone X. It is wider, taller and heavier.
OnePlus is half the price of iPhone X which is much more affordable. However, both the OnePlus 5T and iPhone X are looking gorgeous. The 5T boasts a unibody aluminum shell making it similar to that seen on iPhone 8.
iPhone X removes Touch ID sensor and it is replaced by Face ID tech which Apple claims is the most accurate and safe face authentication tech.
The OnePlus 5T rolls out 'Face Unlock' feature, which uses more than 100 unique identifiers to unlock the phone and it reads them using the phone's standard front camera. It is may not as accurate as Face ID, which throws 30,000 infrared dots on a face, but it may be faster than iPhone X as some early reviews claim.
The iPhone X offers IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection while the OnePlus offers no protection against them.
Regarding colors on offer, Space Grey and Silver are available for iPhone X, which the OnePlus 5T is only available in Midnight Black.
The OnePlus 5T packs 3300mAh battery and supports dash charge, while the iPhone X packs 2716mAh battery and supports wireless charging and fast charging.
